Thanks for stopping by to look at my images. I hope you enjoy the visit. A bit about me? well, I finally got my self in gear and signed onto an evening class for Photography in September 2007. It became evident I needed to upgrade my film SLR Canon EOS to a Digital SLR in order to keep up with the homework schedule. I now own a Canon 400 D, which is a long way from the compact 126 that I started out with 20+ years ago.

Once college was over in July 2008 I joined Wakefield Camera Club and have not looked back. I have learned so much from the members, the welcome I received as a newcomer was very warm and friendly - even if the weather was not!! Since joining I actively look forward to Mondays. The club outings are also events I look forward to as they are an opportunity to learn from others and share experiences.

I am still trying to find out what area of Photography I prefer shooting but I can say I tend to photograph anything that does not move, bite or talk back!! I enjoy experimenting with angles, colour, B&W, Depth Of Field as well as playing with Photoshop to create some wacky images. I am looking forward to improving my images and intend to learn how to create an audio visual piece within the next 12 months.

Stop by and have a look at the other member's images too. The club has a wide range of photographic interests. Have fun with your photography, have fun in everything you do :-) hope to see you soon.
