Since my other interests include, some would say rather misguidedly, following the fortunes of Nottingham Forest, I have come to realise I might need to find happier and more rewarding pursuits. To that end, I decided recently to treat myself to a new camera and believe it to have been the best decision I have made in a long time.

Although having had a fluctuating interest in photography for the past twenty years, it’s fair to say the ‘digital age’ has rekindled my enthusiasm. If forced to state a preference, I would admit to enjoying landscape and architecture but in reality I’m a bit of a magpie, taking anything that catches my eye.
