Hi. I
have been a member of the club for a couple of years now and, despite never
having done anything like it before, find myself looking after the club
website. If you have any thoughts about it please come and have a chat
at one of the meetings or drop me an email. Here is a photo of me
and my email address can be found on the 'About Us' page.My main interests are probably landscape
but I am known for my underwater work (because it makes me unique in the
club, not due to any particular skill). I do a lot of photography
while on holiday (above as well as below the water) so I have now failed to
get that killer shot in lots of wonderful countries. Feel free to come
and talk to me about travel, diving, the website or anything else that takes
your fancy.

| Have a look at some of my images from a recent trip to
Stratford upon Avon. |

Staring Contest |
| This is a Lizardfish and is a great fish to take photos of
because they have faith in their camouflage, speed and pointy teeth so do
not flee unless you get really close. |

Across the Water |
| This was taken in Kanyakamuri at the very southern tip of
India. It is famous for being able to see both the sunrise and sunset
from its beach and is a favorite spot for pilgrims. The 'island' that
has the statue and temple is Vivekananda Memorial Rock and a boat will take
you and 200 Indians there if have time to queue. |

Octopus |
| Another sea creature with good camouflage skills due to the
ability to change colour to that of the background. They are actually
quite shy though so tend to shoot into a hole or head across the reef at
speed. Fascinating to watch if you can get close. |

Onward to Ingleborough |
| Taken on one of those Sunday walks with Carole where I spend
a lot of my time taking photographs then running to catch up with her.
It was unusually sunny that day which created a lot of harsh shadows. |

Axle |
Taken on the same walk as 'Onward to Ingleborough' above.
It is a singe image HDR but the main thing I did was magnify the bottom half
of the picture to make the axle/wheel bigger in the frame. |

Gone Swimming |
| This is a holiday shot, taken on the jetty next to the
Kungkungan Bay Resort hotel on the Lembeh Straits in Sulawesi.
The railings round the edge were teaming with dive gear drying in the sun
but I liked the texture of the planking so I grabbed a towel and somebodies
flip flops to try and tell a bit of a story. |

Going Green |
| Possibly my favourite fish for taking pictures, not too
difficult to stalk and not afraid to give you some eye contact. They
are usually some shade of brown and yellow so I love the green in the tail
of this one and how it goes so well with the background |
