  Well John Bickerdike has pored over the images and decided on the winners. Here are his comments.
An interesting set of images.  All, just about, fulfil the 'Automobile' criterion withe possible exception of 'Surreal Mobile' as its a 'ghost car' and I wasn't convinced about the provenance of the image.  It looked dodgy to me.  However, the idea was good!  Most of the images were straight record shots, mostly well executed.  I was looking for something a little different.
 
The winner  was:     Audi TT  A well executed mono image with added grain and high contrast. An excellent view point which places the car in an interesting environment.
 
In second place was:   In My Dreams  Well thought out and executed
 
 
In third place:    Old Roller Well seen!! And executed. Which is which?  I suppose that's a sexist comment!!
 
 
I also liked Hot Rod, Flatbed Truck and Wheels in Wheels
