It’s only a few days away!

As I’m sure most of you know, the Yorkshire Photographic Union Assembly and Exhibition will open in only a few days. This is the premier photographic exhibition in the county each year, representing the best work in all the clubs in Yorkshire in both print and digital projected images. This year the event is being hosted by Wakefield Camera Club and a vast amount of work YPU posterhas gone into creating an event to be proud of. The Assembly itself is the grand opening and the Assesmbly will take place on Saturday 7th May at Unity Works, Unity Hall, Westgate, Wakefield with an official start time of 14:00 but if you are attending then I would get there early. The Assembly will be opened by the Bishop of Wakefield and awards presented. The actual exhibition will take place in The Old Restaurant, Wakefield Town Hall, Wood Street, Wakefield and will open 10:00 on Saturday the 7th  May and will run from 10:00 – 16:00 each day ending Saturday 14th MayThe exhibition itself will have 200 prints and 200 digital images to view so it makes a fabulous visit for anyone interested in photography.
