It’s Wildflower Time!
Many of our members have been spending time during the summer break, preparing for our wildflower photography competition to be held on Monday 18th September. This competition, which is run annually, is named after Maurice Biglin a past president of Wakefield Camera Club. Maurice was a keen wildflower photographer, so to commemorate his passion, this competition was established in his memory. It is an applied contest, with only very minor adjustments being possible to the picture. Although originally, it was for prints only, these days members may enter both prints and PDIs.
Included below, is a gallery of successful images from the last few years. (Clockwise from the top left; Neil Scarlett, Neil Clarke, Steve Womack, Angela Crutchley-Rhodes, Sara Cremer and Tim Jonas.)
