Round 4 of 2017 Clubman judged

Last night saw the judging of the 4th Clubman competition which was an open category – that means anything goes. Over 35 prints and 48 DPI’s were taken through their paces by Leeds Judge, Jim Edwards. Jim not only critiqued each image but in many cases also gave constructive feedback in terms of how he would have improved the image by using a particular Photoshop technique.

In the print section Jim awarded a commended certificate for Cragside Kitchen by Robert Bilton and for Ivy League by Sally Sallett and highly commended to Peacock Tree Frogs by Peter Wells. Third place went to Deja Vu also by Peter Wells, second place to Loch Cill Chriosd by Steve Wood and in first place was Past their Best by Sally Sallett.

In the DPI section commended went to Roadie by Peter Wells and to Peacock Tree Frogs by Michelle Howell, highly commended went to Red Hot Girl by Steve Womack. In third place was The Impressive Interior of Leeds Corn Exchange by Angela Crutchley-Rhodes, in second place was Langdale Pikes from Sty Rigg by Chris Goodacre and in first place was Shall we Dance by Jane Lazenby.

Well done to everyone and thanks to Jim for judging. You can see a gallery of the winners below.
